An established shala and traditional school of Ashtanga yoga in Cincinnati Ohio, Kim Nietch is Greater Cincinnati’s first Authorized teacher, recognized internationally by SYC/KPJAYI in Mysore, India. We are confident that a Mysore Room is bona fide safe space for deep learning and that integrity is a cornerstone of this system of yoga. If you are new to yoga, you have found the perfect starting point.
Our location matters. Our shala is a generous, separate, designated space within our sustainably-renovated historic residence. Mysore Cincinnati shala was designed for this practice. This non-commercial space allows for a sharpened focus for both students and teacher. In addition to Shala practice, we also offer community Zoom.
Our approach matters. Ashtanga yoga is a wellness platform to develop a personal practice. It has the power to change your life - if you let it. Change comes from acute awareness and the ability to watch patterns by both the student and the teacher. We begin daily with breath and movement.
